Music at St Mary Anglican

We enjoy a wide variety of music here — traditional, modern, folk and ethnic. Thanks to our gifted musicians, guitar, violin and drums frequently augment organ and piano in our service music. Members of the congregation who play an instrument are always welcome to play along with us. Seasonal services have featured special music by The Bauch String Quartet.

We are blessed with a wonderful choir: they sing, laugh, and work extremely hard preparing music to perform throughout the year. The fellowship, camaraderie and joy derived from working together is integral to the choir experience here at St. Mary.

The choir has a flexible rehearsal schedule from September to May of each year. We rehearse primarily every Wednesday evening in the 4 weeks prior to Christmas and Easter, while maintaining a constant rehearsal schedule every Sunday morning at 9:30am through the year.  If you think this sounds like something you would like to participate in, please contact Richard Bauch at 204-996-3239.

We acknowledge that we meet and work on Treaty 1 territory, the traditional land of the Anishinaabe, Cree, and Dakota peoples and the homeland of the Metis Nation. We are grateful for their stewardship of this land and their hospitality which allows us to live, work and serve God the Creator here.
